      The responsibilities for this job included being the Site Manager for Bartlett Nuclear under contract with the United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC) with additional responsibilities as a Senior Radiological Technician and Industrial Hygiene Technician. The main area of responsibilities as the Bartlett Site Manager included resume review of potential RCTs and IHTs, the background screening of new hires, ensuring new hires were set up with payroll and benefits, providing the needed paperwork to the home office for the new hires to be entered into the Bartlett management system(s). It was also my responsibility to ensure new hires were set up with proper training and deployed to the field for work. In addition, I managed the day-to-day activities involving employee needs, discipline, payroll and benefits questions and providing liaison between the home office and the field office in Piketon. I was also part of the contract proposal process and the site contact for interaction between Bartlett and USEC. My roles as a RCT and IHT included site job coverage for various projects on the site for both Radiological Controls and Industrial Hygiene. I also assisted with the on-site training department for Radiological Worker training and was part of the Emergency Response Team and assisted with the Emergency Response Organization for graded and non-graded exercises. Under this contract I worked under both the NRC and DOE regulations; other regulatory agencies included OSHA, EPA and the Ohio Department of Health. Show less

      This job included work in the Industrial Hygiene and Health Physics Departments at a former operating Uranium Enrichment facility. Responsibilities included daily interface with Industrial Hygiene and Radiological Control Technicians, providing oversight for monitoring of work activities and programmatic implementation in the field. My key areas of responsibilities were; to implement the routine IH air monitoring program, Asbestos Program Manager, Inorganic Arsenic Program Manger, and Indoor Air Quality Subject Matter Expert. I was also involved with work planning, job hazard analysis, project oversight/planning, survey reviews, lab equipment calibrations and records, survey reviews, and work document reviews. In addition, my work included involvement in the PSM program, dealing with Hydrogen Fluoride, Chlorine, and Chlorine Trifluoride. Our group also interfaced with the Environmental Group to coordinate PCB sampling and control. I was also part of the Emergency Response team and provide technical support for response operations.
