As a teacher with EDS I supplied lesson plans and implementation of curriculum to Kindergarten aged children during school hours and homework and care support for students grades K-6 after school. This included curriculum planning and implementation, program organization, parent/teacher outreach, and student behavioral and welfare care and monitoring. In addition I helped to plan and implement many student field trips and presentations across several districts for EDS.Our K+ program functioned as a continuation of the classroom and also functions as a day camp during the summer which I have helped to run and organize.   As a long term substitute reading teacher for the Upper Saint Clair School District I taught six sections of novel and reading support to 7th and 8th graders. In addition, I was also the case manager for 45+ 504 learning agreements and oversaw their implementation, usage, and any changes/additions made to the agreements through parent/administrative meetings. In addition I met daily with students’ core teachers to discuss student progress both intellectually and behaviorally and worked with administration to best place students in classrooms for success.
