      I am a leader of the CTE department with communication and mentorship. I assist teachers with many of the unique aspects of CTE, including advisory committees, career & technical student organizations (CTSOs), course sequences, certifications, CCMR, budgets, and more. I am the program director for the Athletic & Rehabilitative Medicine clinical program (in previous years this course was titled, “Performance & Rehabilitative Medicine.” This is a practicum course geared at careers in the orthopedics, sports medicine, and physical therapy fields. We are an academic partner of the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and my students earn their NASM-CPT credentials through the course. Additionally, I am an advisor for MISD HOSA: Future Health Professionals. District-wide cluster leader for the MISD Health Science programs.
