  Software Engineering Immersive Course:- 12 week software engineering course learning the key skills required to become a full-stack developer. We covered a range of languages in both front-end (JavaScript, React, SASS, HTML, CSS) and back-end (Python, Express, MongoDB, Django, PostgreSQL, Node) technologies. - It consisted of daily lectures, standups, coding labs, pair-coding, homework and four projects.

  Working in the UX Design Team at The White Company alongside my development role:- Working on key business briefs from stakeholders and transforming them into meaningful UX designs/studies to help drive incremental business growth.- Conducting competitor analysis to help research and benchmark ourselves against competitors.- User research - conducting user research through methods such as interviews and usability testing.- Creating low to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma.- Creating clickable prototypes for different stakeholders across the business for review and development.- Developing customer journey maps in order to understand where there are pain points in order to make key improvements to the customer experience.- Working alongside existing design systems and components- Ensuring all designs are accessible and meet WCAG guidelines.- Working in an agile team - collaborating within a cross-functional team consisting of product owners, project managers, developers, analysts and other designers. - Presenting back UX briefs and projects to key stakeholders across the business and taking on any feedback. Show less Working as a Front-End Developer in the Optimisation team at The White Company.- Taking Figma designs to build and develop high-quality tests and personalisation campaigns (AB, ABn and MVT) in line with the Optimisation programme.- Responsible for creating and building successful A/B test campaigns worth up to 1.8 million pounds in annual revenue for the business. - Take ownership of the build from initial investigation and discovery, through to final bug checks and delivery.- Establish new best practices for development within the team to ensure consistency.- Introduced a new workflow tool for the team and established best practices for how we work in sprints.- Point of contact for stakeholders across the business for any technical queries or fixes needed to take place outside of release windows. - Advise UX designers on the technical feasibility of their designs.
