  Teter Orthotics and Prosthetics allowed me to assisted in fabrication and adjustments of orthoses and prostheses. I modified and fabricated test sockets for 4 to 6 patients. I Cast 3 patients for transtibial prostheses as well as assisted with a hip disarticulation casting. I aided in the adjustment and programming of an Osseointegration prosthesis and a C-Leg. I also improved my hand skills and my patient interaction/communication skills.

  Mary Free Bed clinicians help introduce me to the OPIE patient management software and help me gain familiarity with using the software. I conducted a StarScan for Cranial Remolding Orthoses as well as assist in adjustments of lower and upper extremity prostheses. I was also able to improved on locating anatomical landmarks done by palpating patients.
