  Summary: As a software developer at IBM, I worked on Business Intelligence and Big Data projects for different customers. Key Projects:• Idea Cellular Ltd.: This Business Intelligence project enabled easy access to cross-functional data for effective business decision-making by deploying IBM’s Big Data Platform to harness customer data and forecast customer churn, enable more effective upsell & cross-sell campaigns, detect fraud and improve their client’s overall experience.As an IC, I worked on creating ad-hoc reports which would be used by the ETL and reporting team to create a KPI report. The ad-hoc requirements came from end users on daily, weekly or monthly basis. Developed and optimized SQL queries for performance and quick turnaround.• Telus: This Data Conversion (ETL) project converted the existing Telus customers from the legacy databases (Mainframe and UNIX) to the new stack system (Amdocs), replacing legacy applications with the new system.As an IC, I ensured that the converted data is compatible physically and satisfies the business rules and business expectations in the new stack. Responsible for the overall integrity of the converted data. Applied the reconciliation items during data conversion, ran the data reconciliation scripts (SQL, PL/SQL scripts) using 'Toad' and analyzed the results. Identified and fixed the defects using 'Mercury quality center'. Show less

  Summary: As a full stack developer, I worked on Patient Registration form of the Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) at Epic. Epic is an EHR application to help people get well, help people stay well, and help future generations be healthier.Key Projects: • Prelude (ADT Patient Registration): ADT stands for Admission, Discharge, Transfer. ADT is a critical part of the entire organization’s system as this is where the key information and status of all patients is managed. The Prelude module covers the hospital registration and insurance functions. I also worked on Big Data and Business Intelligence solutions to help gain deeper insights from the data being collected. Performed Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) using Clarity and developed Application and Crystal reports. Participated in Webinars to demo the new features and reports. Travelled to customer location (hospitals) and work in a shift to help registrars onboard the product. Show less

  Summary: I grew from being an individual contributor, working full stack through SDLC phases with customer focus to being a Leader, working as a squad lead and as a mentor.Key Projects:• Virtual Visits in Microsoft Teams: gives a detailed activity of Teams virtual appointments scheduled through the Bookings app and Microsoft Teams Electronic Health Record connector. The usage reports can be used to train the healthcare personnel based on their meeting wait times or durations.As a squad lead and IC, I worked on building a Teams app with the reports for both bookings and EHR connector apps with right privileges to the Teams users of the organization.• Tags in Microsoft Teams: Reach the right people faster with tags in Microsoft Teams. Tags can be created to @mention set of people like SMEs, or based of a role, or even a ICM shift based tag which gets updated automatically when shift changes in a team.As an IC, worked on Teams Graph APIs which can be leveraged by customers to smartly update tags based on their needs. Work on deploying the Tags GRPC service as a microservice. Containerized it using Docker and deployed it on the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) by leveraging the COSMIC platform which is a common platform to enforce operational and architectural best practices. Lead the Weekly/ Monthly Service reviews of the Tags service driving the Reliability, Latency, performance and other KPIs.• Lists in Microsoft Teams: are simple, smart, and flexible, to stay on top of what matters most to the team. Track patients, loans, issues, assets, routines, contacts, inventory and more, using customizable views and smart rules and alerts to keep everyone in syncAs an IC, worked on building a Teams Lists App and its various features like the First Run Experience, Pinning existing list, sorting and filtering lists, Teams themes, localization, server-side authentication and Compliance (eDiscovery, Retention, GDPR) pipelined to the Office 365 Security & Compliance Portal. Show less • Microsoft Dynamics365 Commerce: Dynamics 365 Commerce delivers a comprehensive omnichannel solution that unifies back-office, in-store, call center, and digital experiences. As a squad lead and IC, I worked on various omni-channel features like Orders and Store fulfilment; Point of Sale (PoS) features like Shifts, Shared shifts and Drawer operations and Receipts like X and Z reports. Most of these features worked in both Online and Offline mode. I also worked on implementing BVT system covering all omni-channel, online and offline scenarios to prevent build regressions.
