      Responsible for doing one-on-one coaching with several associates, while setting the example on how to provide the best service for our clients. Focused on building a sales culture and understanding on how to best sell core product and attach solutions while holding our team accountable to the same expectations. I devised strategy through understanding metrics, behaviors, and market reactions. During my time in leadership I have performed above targets comping in revenue, NOP, services, have raised the department NPS scores, and have been a member of a leadership team that led our store to being 16th out of over 1000 stores in the company while finishing number one across the Orlando/Tampa market across multiple metrics. Show less At the Orlando location, I began the next step of my journey by taking on a full-time role with the company while being a full- time student at the University of Central Florida's College of Business to hone my leadership and selling skills. By partnering with lead Apple Sales Consultants (ASC's) and store leadership, we developed and implemented a sales culture based upon promoting the Apple ecosystem to drive larger basket attachments, higher average selling price (ASP), units per transaction (UPT), and overall revenue for the store. To ensure customer satisfaction, I provided training for all associates on product knowledge and demos which enabled them to educate customers and build brand loyalty.To further drive computing sales, I also partnered with the stores Microsoft Expert to provide various selling skills coaching throughout the department. The coaching's enabled our team to drive higher Microsoft Office attachments, Geek Squad Protection, and services. Doing so resulted in higher margin and revenue gains for the store as well as winning multiple company awards. Pushing a competitive yet fun sales culture, our store has consistently exceeded monthly revenue goals and has placed in the top 50 in the company for Microsoft productivity on several occasions. By striving to achieve greatness through team building and customer satisfaction, we were able to take our location from below 900th in the company to the top 20th percentile within a year. Show less Starting in Ocala, Florida, I began my journey with Best Buy as a part-timer in the computing department. As time went on I was able to gather a vast amount of product knowledge and proficiency on not only computing software (word, powerpoint, excel, etc.) but hardware as well. By taking various learning courses from companies such as Intel, AMD, Apple, etc, I garnered a solid foundation around processing components, motherboards, graphic processing units, data backups, and networking solutions. Once the product knowledge had been mastered, I was able to implement and articulate what I had gathered into sales to achieve a larger revenue per hour, higher basket attachments, and higher profit margin for the store. Over time I was recognized as the stores highest revenue earner and led metrics in a multitude of categories before deciding to shift my focus to being a leader to coach others versus achieving individual awards.
