As part of my degree, I went on a work placement year in the industry. My role was an entry level developer. I worked as part of a team to develop elearning using various authoring tools such as Atlantic Link, Adobe Captivate, Articulate and Kineo's own bespoke flash framework.

In 2013 I was promoted to Senior Developer, where I line managed another developer. During 2013/2014 my HTML/CSS knowledge grew significantly as I was involved in developing e-learning inside the open source framework, Adapt. Having worked on many Adapt projects (large scale and smaller projects), which have often been fairly quick to turn around, I've gained a lot more knowledge about CSS and cross-compatibility testing. This experience has meant I'm more able to spot issues early on and work with the rest of the project team to resolve them. Show less
