      Employed as a member of a team of 16, I was responsible for completing risk assessments and strictly following job permitting procedures and company policies whilst completing preventative maintenance on instrument and electrical systems including gas monitoring sensors and detectors: Honeywell Searchline Excel line of sight and spot gas detectors, Seiger gas detectors, Rosemount and Yokogawa transmitters, Ktek levels, Flowserve valtek and Fisher valves, Toshiba VFD’s.I was also proud to have been:• Nominated as Team Leader to plan, organise and lead Unit shutdown maintenance, coordinating up to 10 people to deliver six week-long projects, consolidating skills, experience and mitigating hazards and risks to deliver on-time completion and documentation• Planned, scheduled and coordinated Analyser tasks, including reactive and preventative maintenance, to ensure analyser availability and accuracy, developing updated procedures as required and for new Analysers • Maintained analysers, including: ABB GC’s, PGC2000 and 3100 models, Rosemount Oxymitter 4000, LAR Tnb and COD waste-water analysers, IT Phase freeze and cloud point analysers, Benke Flash point analysers, Amatek Tail Gas Analysers• Acted as I& E Coordinator for installation and commissioning of fire protection and deluge system on gas spheres including:  Fire protection monitoring pressurised poly pipe wound around flanges and valves Line of sight and spot gas detectors linked to alarms (Honeywell Searchline detectors) Fieldbus communication on the position transmitters for the valves Commissioning of points to DCS• Maintained tank gauge availability and accuracy through a preventative maintenance program• Conducted accurate survey dips on tanks and adjusted tank levels after turnarounds in accordance with revised strapping tables Show less

      Throughout my tenure, I have completed electrical and instrument installation and preventative maintenance tasks, completing risk assessments for each task whilst strictly following job permitting procedures and company policies, working within a Hazardous areas permitting system. Above and beyond my daily and weekly responsibilities, I have been proud to have:• Led a small team in planning Instrument and Electrical work scopes in a hazardous environment, developing workpac documentation to support tradespeople to safely and efficiently complete work, compliant to Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Area (EEHA) frameworks during shutdown.
