      Jun 2009 - Oct 2019
      Director of Education/Operations Manager

When I took over as the Director of Education and Operations Manager, the company has grown in revenue 3 to 4 times its original amount to well over 1 Million dollars in yearly sales. We also increased the number of locations in Ontario from 5 to 8 spanning from London to Ottawa. With increased interest and enrollment, it also meant increased number of classes and instructors. As the Operations Manager, I directly recruited, interviewed, hired, trained and supervised the approximately 40-50 instructors and 2-3 senior instructors teaching approximately 1000 students yearly at all 8 locations at Real Programming 4 Kids. I was also solely responsible for inventory management and technical support of all 8 sites including instructor supplies, computers, usbs, shirts, etc. As Director of Education, I was directly responsible for creating/updating/approving/removing courses as required and making detailed course manuals in Alice, Scratch, Visual Basic, Java, Python, JavaScript, C# and C++ used by hundreds of employees teaching thousands of students over the years. Not only did sales increase but the quality also improved year after year as well (results from Survey Monkey and Google Survey gathered from customers). In addition, I was also responsible for various other duties such as social media management, customer database management, SQL marketing inquiries, individual customer queries, curating specific email lists, mass marketing emails using MailChimp, payroll, website management using Joomla and Wordpress, class scheduling, facilitating private educational programs outside of RP4K at public and private schools in the GTA, creating report card and summative assessment templates, distributing and reviewing all of the report cards for each student taught at RP4K, course summary sheets, free trial classes, scheduling make up classes and bonus course material.
