  The Combined Military Hospital Lahore, Pakistan is a 1,050-bed tertiary care military teaching facility. Our hospital is known for providing specialized treatment and physician training of the highest standards.My responsibilities included:• Assessing patients for admission and discharge• Attending to and effectively managing ward emergencies under consultant supervision• Seeking advice from Internists in diagnosing patients and developing treatment plans• Performing various medical procedures such as IV cannulation, IV drug administration, catheterization, and venepuncture• Monitoring acute, chronic, and critically ill patients in ICU/ITU, including those on mechanical ventilation• Ordering and interpreting scans and lab tests, as well as performing ECGsPrescribing medications based on treatment plans• Conducting daily ward rounds, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting treatments• Supervising and communicating medical concerns with nurse team leaders• Preserving medical records and ensuring patient confidentiality• Discussing medications and preparing discharge summaries• Ordering diagnostic tests under Internist supervision• Charting patient behavior and treatment plans accurately• Writing referrals to specialists as needed• Mentoring medical studentsAdditionally, I have completed rotations in various specialties, including:• Emergency, General Wards, and OPDs• ICU (General & Covid) - 8 months• Gastroenterology - 2 months• Cardiology - 2 months• Dermatology - 2 months• Medical Oncology - 2 monthsThese rotations have provided me with comprehensive experience in diagnosing and managing various medical conditions across different disciplines.I am dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with experienced professionals, and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and practices.
