  Built and managed test bed package centers. Designed, cabled and built out rooms that had the network architecture of a typical UPS package center. Worked with engineers and testers to build and run UPS software for testing purposes. As software packages were completed, worked in the field to be on site to roll out updated software to operating package centers and hubs.

  Worked as IT manager for a firm that rented IT gear. The job was terminated when the largest customer of Vernon the US failed to revive an award for a government contract on a missile defense system and returned all their rented equipment.

  I owned and ran First Due from august of 1998 until I made the decision to sell it in 2012. I continue to keep in contact both with former employees and customers to this day. I started that business as a one man show, and are it to a five person sales organization, when I sold the business it was regularly selling over a million dollars a year in firefighters protective clothing.

  Worked for a small start up division called Truly Global. The division began as a VOIP point to point provider using client software and had planned to become a VOIP provider in a larger market.In charge of the NOC (Network Operations Center), I worked with hardware vendors to select hardware, deign infrastructure and physically build the facility at a data center in lower Manhattan. Once complete, I managed the systems personally and ensured 24/7 systems availability.Unfortunately, funding was cut and the start up, like many others was terminated. Show less

  Built and deployed unix IP telephony servers. I would build and test the equipment in our lab in Newark NJ and once tested, I would ship the servers around the world and work with the local technicians and partners to bring the units up and provision the circuits and get the server up and running.

I was typically there at the end of the job to ensure properly and timely completion to the customers satisfaction.
