He was responsible for 32 servers, 7,000 clients, 465 data switches, 12 telephonic switches, approximately 400 miles of cable infrastructure, a base-wide Motorola Land Mobile Radio system, as well as all aspects of information assurance and communications security. His team supported 42,000 personnel including the Air Force Expeditionary Center (NAF), 5 AF wings, and 88 mission partners, that included USA/USMC/USN/USAF/USCG and Active Duty/Reserve/Guard components. He planed and executed a budget of $5 million annually, and coordinated major projects with US Cyber Command, Defense Information Systems Agency, Headquarters Air Force, Air Mobility Command, and 24th Air Force staffs.• Led a team of 126 military, civilian and contract personnel supporting $620M communications infrastructure.• Executed $5M budget and an additional $4M in communications infrastructure projects.• Oversaw 32 Microsoft servers, over 7,500 Windows clients, managed 550 Cisco data and 12 Avaya voice switches, and provided technical support to ensure high quality service across 42,000 acres. • Founded and chaired the base quarterly Joint Communications Management Board integrating 10 organizations, 40 projects worth $21M and synchronizing a 3 year infrastructure strategy.• Authored cyber security paper that detailed enterprise issues and concerns for USAF senior leaders.• Piloted $14M base telecommunications services contract supporting 42,000 personnel; established strategy, briefed leadership and tracked milestones, as well as provided benchmark for other bases.• Won AMC's Gen Rawlings Team of the Year award twice for large-scale network security projects.
