  This was my first part time job. We had to do several things, depending on the season (it was at a plantation). It was tough at times: sometimes in bad weather conditions (from working outside in the burning sun at +30°C, to working in the rain when it was just above 0°C), but it made me to the person I am today.

  Team leader

  After a few years I promoted to become a team leader at the Plus Supermarket in Barneveld. Plus is a supermarket that has a strong focus on service and has the flexibility to adapt to the local needs.My tasks were very diverse. It was my responsibility to lead the team work tidy and efficient. I also ordered stock, changed and evaluated shelf layout, helped other departments when needed, et cetera.

  At the Royal BDU (at the department BDU media, Marketing) I did both a traineeship and a internship. My tasks as a trainee were very diverse. Some examples of my activities were:- Exhibition stand organisation (project manager) and promotional work- Develop and implement marketing activities- Brief designers to create advertisements- Administration tasks- Website management with CMSThe thesis I wrote for my internship had to do with Multichannel Management. This topic was very relevant for the BDU. I did research on the effect of a multichannel policy for the Barneveldse Krant on the loyalty of the (potential) readers to the Barneveldse Krant. The Barneveldse Krant is a local newspaper. I focused on the digital newspaper, because it is believed that this channel has a lot of potential. My thesis was rated with a 7, so I graduated for my bachelor study. Show less

I support the Pressure Management leadership team through strategic planning tasks to ensure our strategic initiatives are well understood and on track.Furthermore, I manage two direct reports and support them implementing pricing tools & strategy as well as the marketing strategy. I started this role in Skelmersdale, UK, and after a few months moved back to the Netherlands to continue this job in Ede.In this role, I developed marketing plans and campaigns to grow the business. I worked closely together with my stakeholders, such as the sales & marketing business leaders, business development directors and vice presidents, product marketing management and the marketing communications team. I was creating a customer-focused and consistent messaging globally, and ensured our campaigns and activities added value to the business. I also managed the communication of new product launches. Show less After I worked for ASCO (part of Emerson) in the Netherlands for 15 months, I was offered the opportunity to take on a European marketing role for ASCO in the United Kingdom. I accepted this challenge and started a new adventure in a new country. I was working as the European Marketing Communications Specialist for the Process Industries.I was helping to boost sales by developing new marketing collateral and web content, being the stand manager on process industry related exhibitions and working closely together with product managers to develop launching and promotion plans for new products. My responsibilities varied from website management, sales support, content creation (webpages, brochures, news items, etc.), product launch support, stand management for local exhibitions, translation work, and more.I was really thrown in the deep.
