Partnered with vendor reps to successfully train staff for Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Arden, Borghese, Clarins, Exuviance, Cosmeceuticals and fragrances. Hosted National Makeup Artist events requiring advance bookings and deposits. Ran GWP Presale events of up to $20,000 in presales to be rung before store opening and delivered to workplaces. Saw that beauty advisors booked appointments, did inventories and placed stock accordingly while growing their clientele to goal. Maintained a low associate turnover rate and filled open positions timely. Cosmetics and Furniture were commissioned sales. Furniture was the biggest gallery in the company, including furniture, mattresses, rugs, lamps and decorative accessories. We also had the company clearance room. We did custom orders, work with vendor reps, and handled delivery problems. 1997-2000 I worked at West Manchester Mall managing the same areas as above at different times. 2000-2007 I worked at the flagship store, York Galleria, where standards were the highest and we entertained many corporate visitors that required excellent visual standards. My last 2 years I was thrilled to have met my goal of moving into HR. I kept the Cosmetics ASM role as well. Ran successful inventories twice a year in each department and executed inventory reconciliation results each year focused on improvement. 2003-2007 held role of Chairperson of store BRAVO! team. (BT retail Associate Volunteer Outreach) Responsible to plan, organize and network projects between store associates and the community to benefit the youth, disabled and economically challenged residents in our community.
