      Assisted camp directors with the direction, supervision, and organization of camp attendees. Supervised attendees during meals and outdoor activities to ensure rules and safety procedures were followed. Worked one-on-one with attendees and communicated with them accordingly to ensure a positive camp experience. Performed miscellaneous clerical duties and built and painted sets for camp play performance.

      Selected for highly competitive internship to experience all aspects of Cherokee government and the administrative functions required to govern a sovereign nation. Met with Cherokee Principal Chief and leaders of each branch of tribal government. Attended Cherokee Tribal Council meetings to hear concerns of tribal citizens, as well as leadership classes and Cherokee language classes.
