Duties include space planning, coordinating and managing moves to and from Annex, serving as point person for issues pertaining to moves with Harvard Depository, processing materials for storage offsite, resolving problem titles via contact with catalogers and IDLA processing staff, quality control, and hiring and managing student employees. Creates technical processing documentation on staff wiki, posts to the departmental blog, staffs a busy public service desk a couple of hours a week. Also handles circulation searches, pulls patron requests, performs circulation and light reference duties, scans articles for document delivery, and serves on a number of library committees. Takes on other special projects as well, including the Rotch/RVC moving image inventory.
