Facilitated in creating and implementing a student rewards/loyalty program called “Blue Demon Rewards.” This program creates an added incentive to attend athletic events by using a point system where students receive prizes as they swipe their student ID’s at games and ascend the points scale. The program is heavily promoted and has helped increase student attendance. Applied creative design skills to create flyers using Adobe InDesign for use in promoting all athletic events. Oversaw a critical feature of the team’s vast social media strategy by anonymously posting links to different websites promoting special events run by the team. One social media tactic implemented was to create a mock conversation on a relevant Facebook page. Also researched and identified each of the most popular social media channels for the specific events in order to maximize interest and increase exposure, brand awareness, and sales. Prepared several categories and assembled strong prospecting leads for the corporate sponsorship team. Then continued on to develop packages and detailed proposals that would appeal to specific businesses or industries.
