      It's been widely known that the acquisition of skills can increase one's professional development perception of itself. But is the opposite relation also true?And if so, how does the work environment influence on which learning strategies one might use to develop those skills?In this research me and my colleague Marcos Felipe, supervised by Professor PhD. Jairo Eduardo Borges-Andrade, are investigating the relations (such as predictions and correlations) between some of the work environmental settings, the perception one has about its professional development and the usage of different learning strategies.       Startaê is a design studio focused on empowering positive change. Both Working with startups or organizations that promote positive change in the world and teaching better ways to work with some of their ventures, such as Officeless.As part of Startaê's core team and acting as Operations Maker, I was mainly responsible for Finances and Human Resources.On the HR axis, I was responsible for helping to restructure the Hiring process and structuring the hiring funnel for a Tech Team. Also came up with processes and activities for maintaining Startaê’s Culture as well as on Remote teams’ engagement. Also acting on the Organization's communication, from feedback practices to weekly syncs model creation. Meanwhile, on the Financial Axis, I was responsible for the entire team's payment roll. I was also in charge of the entire expense management, controlling the receipts and invoices from every expense we had as an organization, and the construction of some Tools for our Sales team to make projects booking easier.       As a Business Analyst, assisted the Federal Ministry of Finance to build a Strategic Planning focussed on actions towards Productivity, Competitivity and Employement.In another opportunity I was able to help five Departments of State, within two different brazilian states improve their Human Resources areas. In this project, managed in partnership with "Aliança", a group of four non-profit organizations, we analyzed the Sourcing, Hiring, Performance Management and Development processes of those departments, identifying the main areas of improvement and implementing solutions that sought solving the identified issues.Some of the implemented solutions involved:- Building a job profile for leadership positions within those departments, including a skill set and the main challenges hired professionals would face;- Structuring monthly meetings to track leadership performance; and - Implementing a feedback cycle in order improve professional development of the organization's leadership crew.After the conclusion of this project, began acting as product manager for a team responsible for developing a virtual assistant designed to help citzens solve their doubts about the public administration and finding the service most suited for their needs.The virtual assistant, named "Íris", is a chatbot that uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) as a major component to help better understend users messages.       Tech Recruiting Intern

      While working as Tech Recruiter, had the opportunity to help build a team of people who are inspired by creating great products for worldwide clients. Got the chance to participate in every step of the recruiting pipeline, sourcing professionals through online job boards and social networks (such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor) and through direct contact with universities; applying tech challenges with tools like HackerRank; and interviewing them, both remotely and in person.Also applied, together with the Design crew, some Design Thinking and UX Methods in order to improve our sourcing and hiring processes seeking to add as much value as we could to both AIS and our candidates.
