  I hosted, marketed and produced my own radio show, 'Kuch Asian Kuch Western', the only radio show on Quest to cater for the large Asian audience in Mile End.I chaired debates, discussions, created a new music playlist each week, collaborated with other DJs and I helped train new DJs each year.

  As an unqualified teacher I took on a variety of roles including taking over a full teaching timetable and acting as a cover supervisor.I observed good practice, learned a lot about the world of education and had the opportunity to teach a variety of students aged between 11 and 18.

  I am currently a science teacher teaching Y7-9, teaching physics and chemistry and biology as required to Y10-11 and also A-level physics for Y12-13.I am also assistant Head of Year 8 where I have responsibility for student behaviour data and managing interventions and have been working closely with the Head of Year for 2 years. I have recently been able to have my input on the Physics department's budget and the new behaviour system as well as developing resources and exams for the physics department.I run 2 STEM clubs and help to run a third. Robot Rumble in conjunction with MBDA, Quadcopter Challenge in conjunction with Raytheon and Race for the Line in conjunction with Dendrite. Furthermore, my students came 2nd in the national final of the quadcopter challenge and won the MBDA Glider Challenge.I also help the director of cricket with fixtures and training for Y8 and Y9 in the Summer time.
