The Development Manager will be expected to maintain successful relationships with current large donors, as well as develop new ones. The Development Manager will be required to foster relationships with possible wealthy contributors. A considerable amount of networking is involved in this aspect of the position, as you will need to put yourself in the position to meet new potential donors. The Development Manager is also responsible for attending trade shows and events to promote the organization to the community and the business sector.Plan Fundraising Events 2. Development personnel will be required to plan and execute every aspect of the charity golf tournament, including donations, advertising, obtaining sponsors and golfers. The Christmas wreath fundraiser is another small fundraiser that the Development Coordinator is responsible for overseeing. The Development Coordinator will also be responsible for every aspect of the annual picnic and open house. The CDSM is expected to spearhead TVW’s efforts to assist individuals with disabilities to identify and pursue jobs within career fields that are a “good match” for the individual. That is, the career field aligns with the person’s skills and interests and provides them an opportunity for growth and development through employment.Leading these efforts requires the CDSM: to develop and maintain positive community relations; to facilitate the design, development, and implementation of innovative, person centered strategies that not only meet the specific needs of individuals but also insure that quality standards and contractual obligations are consistently met; and to empower and manage team members to provide any/all necessary supports to assist people in their various career pursuits. In addition the CDSM is responsible to provide, or facilitate the provision of training, support and technical assistance for staff, employers, and job seekers/supported employees to ensure they have all the necessary tools and resources to be successful.Essential Functions:1.
