      Managed the direction of the company’s diverse set of applications by working with Customer Service, Sales, and Customer Focus Groups. Assembled and led development teams in implementing the product strategies and sales/marketing approaches.* Designed and developed application frameworks based on customer focus-group input, reusing legacy data stores and algorithms thus reducing the cost of implementation by $1M+. * The product was chosen to replace all legacy products in two-thirds of the Nation. The DHTML/XML/XSLT based framework was the cornerstone of the product offering, and reduced customer attrition by 50% in key markets and increased sales by more than 50%.* Designed and developed a new consumer-oriented internet-based insurance rate quote product opening up an entirely new market/product offering for the company. This generated initial sales of several million dollars, and a recurring revenue stream in excess of $1M per year. Managed customer support, product development/support, sales and marketing, accounting and distribution. Turned around this unprofitable region.* Increased sales 114% and decreased cancellations 50%. Designed and implemented new automated quality assurance and testing programs, dramatically raising product quality.* Reduced overall COS 25% by designing and developing an internet-based software distribution and update system. This technology was implemented in all legacy systems across the nation, significantly reducing operational costs and cost of sales. * Increased customer satisfaction using the new systems ability to update customer software in under an hour, versus the 3 days the old system took.       With a focus on delivering practical pragmatic technical solutions to a wide range of business situations, I have successfully delivered software solutions, both web and client based to a growing list of clients. I prefer to remain language agnostic, instead focusing on the problem/solution. I've developed and continue to develop solutions using the latest Microsoft Technoligies using .Net and C# or VB along with solutions in PHP/MySQL. I would say that my biggest skill is the ability to think from the business perspective (as opposed to a straight technologist) and map that seemlessly back to a viable solution. This paper was shared with Duck Creek senior management and is partially incorporated into an upcoming Duck Creek platform release.• Implemented a multi-threaded policy data conversion application to import 4 years of legacy policy information from 4 different data sources into a common Duck Creek implementation.• Called on by senior management to join a team of 3 technical leads asked to take over and deliver a significantly overdue and over budget specialty policy administration project originally started by an outside consulting firm.
