      Apr 1999 - Aug 2023
      Senior Technical Writer

Converted entire documentation suite (installation/configuration guide, usage guide, quick start, API guide, JavaScript guide) for an end-customer system management application from engineer-developed MSWord files to a MadCap Flare project to ensure high-quality, professional, maintainable documentation. Worked with CICD build support to get new MadCap source stored in Git repository alongside product code to ensure version control and nightly automated build of product documentation. Interfaced with internal localization team to develop documentation translation process and schedule to create local language documentation which contributed to sales enablement in those regions. As a result, the product launched with high quality, accurate, professional end user documentation. In several instances, worked with User Experience (UX) Engineer and software developers to modify product’s User Interface (UI) and procedures. This reduced documentation complexity and length, making it easier for customers to understand.Developed custom CICD build scripts to convert MSWord output files from MadCap Flare into Linux manpages, leveraging the same source topic files in Flare used for the PDF user guide, enabling automatic nightly build of both PDF guide and manpages from single documentation source. This allowed developers and stakeholders to always have the latest documentation available to review or integrate.Served as Team Leader for an Intel software documentation writing team; in addition to delivering online help and projects documentation, balanced workloads among a team of four, assessed incoming projects against team availability, prepared and delivered performance reviews (with manager present), prepared and reported quarterly objectives for team, reported weekly status upwards to management, and solicited new projects from other Intel organizations.Regularly developed complete documentation plans.
