  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-To ensure the smooth and trouble free operation of Rotary Machines like Centrifugal Compressors, Gearboxes, Multistage High Pressure Pumps, Centrifugal Fans/Blowers etc.- To minimize downtime and spares consumption.- Present the KPI's, Conformance Charts, remedies and future plans with Top Management.- To define and implement the S.O.P, Activity Flow Charts and other documents for department.- Make stud mountings of sensors after the study of machine dynamics like speed, DOF, fault freq. etc, sensor datasheets for freq range, resonant freq sensitivity etc and integrate with existing system.- Identify the machine with frequent problems and recommend modification e.g to changing stiffness, to add compensator, modify blower filters etc.- Recommend the use of technologies to enhance the availability of machines e.g. Radiography for boilers, Topology for gearboxes, and Endoscopy for Compressors, Thermal Imaging for Electric Panels etc.- Carryout the Dynamic Balancing of rotors onsite and in workshop.
