Actively involved in intellectual property development and design workarounds for existing and new filtration products.- Lean Six Sigma focused and implemented 5S throughout the manufacturing plant.- Accomplished KPI’s for the engineering department monthly objectives.-Responsible for global design and implementation of automotive filtration products and manufacturing processes for aftermarket and OE customers in Heavy Duty Air Filtration, utilizing 3D CAD software (SolidWorks & Creo Parametric).-Designed and developed plastic components for injection molding.-Participated in creating and implementing new manufacturing processes, including metal forming, stamping, molding, casting, and machining.-Designed, built, and tested prototypes for Heavy Duty Air Filtration to meet or exceed OEM standards and aftermarket.-Planned and implemented new processing technologies to address evolving industry needs with continuous improvement.-Developed patentable design ideas, solutions, and processes.-Evaluated and tested new materials, including polyurethanes, plastics, and cellulose/synthetic media. Show less -Responsible for project Heavy Duty Can Forming Press Line, this project represented the most important development in 2016, since represented a new launching for the heavy-duty market highly expected from clients and consumers. In one year of its launching has contributed in 12% of overall sales. In this project I managed all the stages such as, layout, installation, fine tune, process development and training.-Responsible for project Light Duty Tapping Machine, the motivation of the project was to substitute two tapping machines for one state of the art 4 headed automatic machine (Dream Tech), the result was that the second shift was eliminated, and two headcounts were reduced, production increased by more than double. I conducted all the stages of this project.-Responsible of project Non-Woven Media Light Duty Air Filter, with this project the location will penetrate in a new market that we expect to deliver 100K units in the first year.-Development and improvement of projects for the production process for oil and fuel filters.
