      -As a handwork assistant, I looked over children’s knitting, crochet, or weaved projects before class, corrected mistakes, and assisted teachers in giving each child personal attention.-I worked in the After Care program with children ages 6-14years.       Responsible for the Senior Class Gift program and Young Presidential Associates.Senior Class Gift-Significantly increased the Senior Class Gift participation by 10% in 2010 and augmented our senior leadership level donors by 52%.-Recruited, trained, and managed a committee of 60 volunteers from the senior class.-Have made several presentations directed towards seniors and young alumni. -Created a recurring gift program called the 1911 Society, which encourages students to make a recurring donation for five years and keep them involved as young donors.-Production and maintenance of the Senior Class Gift website and social media groups.-With the help of the Special Events staff and other Event groups on campus, I developed and implemented several Senior events that promoted donating through the Senior Class Gift program. -Built relationships across campus, particularly with Alumni Relations, Student Affairs, and the Career center to encourage open dialogue between departments.Young Presidential Associates -Worked closely with LMU’s YPA Program, specifically with alumni who have graduated in the last five years. -Assisted with the YPA Council volunteers at various meetings and events throughout the year.-Engaged with current and prospective young alumni donors at events, through email, and personal visits to ensure contacts three to four times a year.-As seniors, the YPA level is $100, and once a year out, I solicited alumni for $250 and finally the $500 level for those who were five years out.-Collaborated on marketing pieces for the Annual Giving direct mail and e-mail solicitations, which were specifically segmented for recent graduates.-Focused on the acquisition of new donors to create a bond, sense of loyalty, and affiliation with the university to encourage action that they feel confident and optimistic about.       -Began teaching a Waldorf inspired parent and baby class with eight families.-We met weekly to observe the babies and learn to move slowly with them.-We spoke of various topics of new parenthood (motherhood mostly as this was a group of mothers).-I used my RIE experience and Waldorf Training to help the mothers trust in their babies.-Led discussions based on chapters of various books that the group read.-Encouraged families to look into the local Waldorf School (PWS) and consider the Parent Child Program...three of the families continued on to do so.
