  Worship and Creative Arts Director

  CCR is a non-denominational, multi-cultural and multi-generational church located in Kigali, Rwanda. During my time at Christ's Church Rwanda (CCR), I built volunteer teams that would serve the church on Sundays and on special celebrations. How? By creating and implementing training programs, active recruitment, and community engagement within the multicultural community. I developed a 3 level entry process into the worship ministry to facilitate and strategize the growth of the ministry. I also planned and implemented special projects such as Christmas celebrations and Easter. How? By planning months ahead of time, engaging the church staff and volunteers (teams of 25+ on average each event) into the vision of each event and eventually coordinating the implementation of each project with passion and excellence.The ins and outs of each project had to be planned and coordinated to the second, so to avoid as many last minute surprises as possible.   The Global Leadership Network

  Country Summit Producer

  I produced the Global Leadership Summit in Rwanda for 2 years and served as the worship director for the summit for 2 years prior to that. Each year as producer, I built and coordinated multi-denominational/national/cultural teams comprised of over 35 leaders from multiple African countries in Africa and beyond. My role as producer of the summit, in Rwanda, comprised of coordinating with the global production team in ensuring that Rwanda's program adheres to the global vision of the summit. The implementation was achieved through recruiting, coordinating and maintaining/equipping teams for the implementation of each GLS project. From a project management perspective, each year, for 2 days, 400 executive (and aspiring)leaders attended this world-class leadership gathering. The event's vision had to be efficiently formulated in partnership with the staff, the plan meticulously formulated and communicated with the staff and volunteer teams; and implementation excellently coordinated; all so that the quality of the event is of world-class quality. To achieve this, as producer, with the support from the local staff and international production team, I coordinated and managed various teams including the worship team, production team, the stage construction team, the facilitation team and the church's staff team - to create a distraction free environment for leaders to come and be inspired and equipped on how they can become their best self.   Volunteer Worship Band Director

  I worked with the worship band director at the Kigali International Community School to lead the worship band (extra curriculum activity) in preparing for chapel twice a week. In this time, I had an opportunity to sharpen my leadership, strategic planning, strategic management, team coordination and overall management skills, in addition to my passion for cross-cultural community engagement.
