  Supported several Neurodiverse children K-5th grade in there own sensory play room. I utilized art and play therapy technique such as creating music together, playing board games, focused on sensory touch such as tickling, and squeezing. I also joined in with the family of culture and built a relationship with parents to discuss new goals for their children.

  Co-facilitate and develop a weekly multi-modal art therapy curriculum in group and milieu settings for an afterschool program. I worked with a diverse group of K-5th graders with a focus on resiliency, social emotional learning, and cultural humility. We designed art activities assisting the group and individuals self-determination by implementing breathing techniques, and empathetically building space together for one another to learn from each other.
