  Project Engineer on the HRT Light Rail project that is being built in Houston, TX. Some of my duties include Weekly and Monthly Cost Analysis, Job Forecasting, Monthly Billing to our client, and creating Change Orders. We are also tasked with keeping a 35% DBE/SBE/WBE participation on our contract so we are constantly revising our subcontractor's contracts with additional change orders and ensuring they are maintaining a commercially useful function through-out the duration of their contract. Internally I focus on making sure our Field Engineers properly track their day-to-day cost and keep accurate records of various issues that come up through the duration of the job. Show less I was transferred to Kiewit Offshore Services in December 2010 for Cobra Castor UGS. I fulfilled the duties of a Field Engineer for Process Pipe, Mechanical Equipment, Hydro Testing, and Cost Controls. In just under a year the exposure of this industry has really opened my eyes as to the difficulty of building an Offshore Platform. Process pipe and Mechanical equipment have been some of my favorite positions because of the amount of responsibility each engineer has in the delivery, staging, and execution of the project.
