The Stadium, designed to showcase Qatar’s culture and heritage is inspired by local patterns and dune-like structures, which resemble the sand dunes that surround traditional desert tents. The concept was borne out of a need to retain historical data and also beam it for a viewing delight. The Media Museum (Media Majlis) is a brainchild of the Northwestern University in Qatar (NU-Q), one of the Colleges of Media Communications in Qatar.
