      In the Travelers Program, a well-diverse set of students are brought together to learn about the alarming incidence of health disparities in minority communities, especially regarding cardiovascular health. In this program, students are taught how to better understand and treat underserved communities in U.S. healthcare. Alongside this, they are responsible for taking on a research project with a faculty advisor at Weill Cornell Medicine. Through their research, students will increase their knowledge of clinical medicine and of what goes on behind the scenes in order to discover new findings that can better serve the health community.
