  The Global Leadership Development Summit brought meaningful insights into leading in a global world to select University of Miami students over two days of interactive, engaging sessions using Spain as a case study. At the conclusion of this summit, students will have developed a working definition of growth mindset, networking across cultures, intercultural communication, and inclusive leadership. Throughout the summit, students will practice each concept through case studies and discussion.

  Participant in the Travelers Summer Research Fellowship Program at Weill Cornell Medicine

  In the Travelers Program, a well-diverse set of students are brought together to learn about the alarming incidence of health disparities in minority communities, especially regarding cardiovascular health. In this program, students are taught how to better understand and treat underserved communities in U.S. healthcare. Alongside this, they are responsible for taking on a research project with a faculty advisor at Weill Cornell Medicine. Through their research, students will increase their knowledge of clinical medicine and of what goes on behind the scenes in order to discover new findings that can better serve the health community.
