  Seasonal Sales Associate

  I worked as a Seasonal Sales Associate in the Adidas Employee Store in Portland. I primarily worked at a cash register during the peak holiday season and was praised for the precision and accuracy in this busy and high stress time. I also assisted with store display upkeep and supervising customer use of our fitting rooms. During the busiest times I would also assist with customer service helping customers find products and offering alternatives if the product they sought was unavailable.

  I worked as a Seasonal Sales Associate in the ThinkGeek store at Clackamas Towncenter during the holiday season. This ThinkGeek was the only storefront in the area so we had a large number of customers who travelled significant distance for the opportunity to come to the store. Because of this the store culture was varied and emphasized an experience tailored to each customer.

  Horseback Riding Instructor

  I worked as a private lesson instructor for a family. They had been gifted horses with little to no previous horse experience. I worked to educate them in general horse care and riding fundamentals as well as giving their daughter riding lessons. She had developed a fear of falling after taking a bad spill. I spent an extended period of time focusing on confidence building and reteaching some fundamental skills to improve her stability, safety and confidence moving forward.

  I was brought on by the university to help coordinate a program run in partnership with the Air Force JROTC and to instruct a 4 credit ground school course for Private Pilot Students. I work as the head Student Athletic Trainer here at the University. I work directly under our Athletic Trainer and aid in ensuring the health and safety of our athletes in games, practices, writing rehab programs and now in an added role with COVID19 testing and screening of our athletes. I briefly had the pleasure of working for Walla Walla Universities Marketing and Relations Department. I had the opportunity to write about a variety of different topics as well as meeting and conducting interviews.
