      Project Manager

Until recently I was part of the Scottish Government Digital Directorate Reaching 100% Programme that aims to extend the availability of Next Generation Infrastructure to meet the commitment to deliver superfast broadband access to 100% of premises in Scotland. I led the development of the R100 website and interactive map with the aim of informing the public and other stakeholders if they are part of the R100 Intervention area and when they are likely to be superfast enabled. The project was a vital component in the overall R100 programme and the wider Digital Directorate Strategy, thus had a high profile up to Ministerial level. This was a challenging but rewarding project and involved requirements analysis, workshops, planning, RAID management, roadmap creation, liaising with SG IT & procurement in addition to careful and effective management of various stakeholder groups.I worked with a small core team consisting of Programme Director, Programme Manager, Commercial Director, Stakeholder Engagement Director, Policy and Procurement in addition to a team of external legal, technical and finance advisors. Reporting directly to Programme Management, I had a key role in ensuring the team adhered to governance standards across the programme including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of programme and project deliverables.
