  As a Product Line Manager, I have to consider where a printing solution sits in the customer’s production workflow and how it can create value. As a Solutions Architect, I have been involved in the entire production workflow design for many customer engagements. These skills and abilities have enabled me to create and drive the market requirements for the Inline color envelope inkjet printer product line (Print+ Messenger) and build our value proposition. Pioneering the concept of inline color printing of envelopes and creating a new market has required understanding the enterprise marketing executives goals, database marketing and IT constraints, and the daily work of creative graphic designers, operations directors, service technicians, and systems operators. Manage the Color Digital Inkjet printing product roadmap for Pitney Bowes inserting platforms. Work to build relationships with HP and other PB partners. P&L responsibility of integrated print solutions for PB DMT: Position the product line to be best in class with the highest ROI. Work with Sales and Operations to optimize hardware and consumables inventory. Interlock regularly with: Customer Service, Solutions Architects, Sales Engineers, Marketing Management, and Sales Executives to drive successful customer engagements in support of ongoing sales and marketing efforts. Communicate with Engineering on a weekly basis to review progress of development programs. Collaborate across the PB organization with PB Emtex, PB Insight, PB Mailing, and PB DMT engineering in the areas of general inkjet technology, ICC profiling, production print workflow, and other value add software solutions. Facilitate interactions between engineering print group, customers, and paper suppliers to identify how to measure paper characteristics which lend itself to machine-ability and inkjet print quality vs. TCOP. Show less Created the first high speed (26k/hr), high integrity integrated inline inkjet addressing and messaging solution in the production mail market. Grew sales revenue to over $5 million/year in new equipment during this period. Managed the development and integration of HP TIJ2.5 and TIJ3.0 technology to the Pitney Bowes MPS and FPS product lines. Managed the overall product rollout which included all technical aspects, service training, process and manufacturing rollout, OEM relationships, market understanding, product positioning and creation of customer facing materials and presentations. Managed the integration of Kodak Versamark, Bryce, Prism Jetmail-3, MCS Array & GIS4250 inkjet printers in to the product line based on price vs. function requirements during this same period. Managed the scan integration team in selection, development and launch of high speed production scanning technology working with a variety of vision companies, such as Videk, DDS, Cognex, MicroScan, Lake Image and Axode, to create best in class, highly integrity vision solutions.
