      As the Division Leading Chief, I was responsible for the supervision of a 20-person workforce. In this position, I was the expert in the operation and repair of the installed electronic equipment. This position also resulted in the direct oversight of a department of over 50 sailors in their separate work areas in the daily operations of a forward deployed submarine. Responsible for the management of programs of three work centers to include training, schools, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and personnel management programs with positive results for the organization.       As the Lead Sonar Assistant in the region, I was responsible for the training, staffing and equipping of four forward deployed submarines and one surface ship, in the execution of missions vital to national security. As a liaison, I was responsible for equipment installation of several multi-million dollar Sonar systems that required my direct oversight and support in execution. As an Inspector, I was responsible for proficiency of the four separate crews of over 1200 sailors in their ability to execute tasking. I assisted with developing and implementation of an EAP and ERP that dealt specifically with Typhoon readiness and response. Programs I managed included emergency response, a qualifications and training programs in support of over 1000 personnel, Arm Ammunition and Explosive programs for over 100 weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition, a key custody program to secure sensitive areas and a continuing college educational program. I was responsible for the training budget and scheduling of skills based training for the command. I was also responsible for development and participation in Incident Commands for execution of drills and scenarios to test the commands ability to respond to various manmade and natural disasters.       I am responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of Duke Energy's high voltage (525kV, 230kV, 100kV and 44kV) electric transmission system on a continuous basis. -Responsible for the oversight and management of instruments and control of equipment at a coal fired power plant. This includes federally regulated equipment to ensure compliance with federal law. Focused on safety; I was part of the companies Safety Committee bringing fresh ideas to the program, while providing training on various safety topics as a Subject Matter Expert. Hand selected to work in the Instrument and Control Department.
