  Switchboard (High Voltage & Low Voltage) Inspection and maintenance using the under listed procedures;Check function of all power meters before shutdown.Check function of lamps and indicators.Inspect locking devices for signs damage or worn.Clean thoroughly, vacuum and full visual inspection of exterior and interior of all Low Voltage & High Voltage switchboards and panels for paint work damage and signs of corrosion.Inspect control wiring, relays, power supply units, timers, etc. where applicable.Check electronic surge protection is intact where installed.Check earth fault protection/ earth leakage protection.Verify control circuit fuse rating and continuity.Carry out insulation resistance test on switchboard breakers and bus barCheck all cable connections for tightness and torque terminalsUse infrared thermometer to detect loose connections, corroded elements, short circuits, overloaded circuits. Check and torque test bolted electrical connections as necessary to specified levels.Rack out Air Circuit Breaker (ACB) and SF6 circuit Breakers, check operation of safety shutter, open/close manually, charge device manually check contacts & Grease disconnect contacts as necessary.Perform MCCB trip test with report.Ensure that switchboard operation is checked after maintenance by putting the breaker in test position and operating it with its associated control and protective device from a separate source or supply.230V, 400V & 11KV Local & Remote Synchronizing, Load transfer checks, Load shedding and interlocking schemes.Carry out Pre commissioning test (Visual checks, Circuit breaker tripping test, Loop test, Ohmic test between phases, Insulation resistance / Megger test, Earth leakage testing and lamp indicator test)Perform Operational Test procedure (OTP) for control room and field equipments taking record of start up and running voltage / current , ambient temperature, winding temperature of equipment at specified time intervals..
