  Wastewater refurbishment which included: Removal of existing grit removal system, and replace with new aerated grit removal system. Complete demolition/construction of 9 primary clarifiers. Design and remodel of 4 primary digester systems at South Fort Waste water plant. Install new electrically actuated telescoping valves on each of the nine existing influent pipelines at the existing primary sludge pit and on each of the six existing influent pipelines at the new final sludge pit. Removal of the three existing primary and three existing final sludge pumps, and replace with three new submersible primary and two new submersible final sludge pumps, each VFD controlled. Remove existing air diffusers in each of the three aerobic digesters, and replace with new air diffusers in each of the three aerobic digesters. Remove replace the plant’s main utility transformer and other miscellaneous electrical equipment.Lake Charles, La. This project is the phased design/build renovation of ten (10) VOLAR barracks and site/drainage improvements at Fort Polk, Louisiana. The intent of the project is to minimize vapor transmission through the building envelope, improve energy efficiency, eliminate standing water in crawl spaces, provide dehumidified make-up air to provide proper space relative humidity, and seal the building envelope to minimize infiltration, with the overall goal of providing our soldiers with living quarters that they deserve and that will last for the next twenty years.
