  UCI's Autonomous Systems Engineering Academy focuses on improving students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills through coding, designing, and fabrication of different technologies. The program allowed me to have hands-on experience while learning different life skills. The program also provided mentorship that assisted me in my career path.-Fabricated a Raspberry Pi remote-control car in 20 hours with a budget of $150 that can be used manually or autonomously.-Constructed a Raspberry Pi arcade-style retro video game emulator machine for 15 hours on a budget of $150.-Trained in designing, fabricating, and programming electronics, as well as exposure to key tech figures and professors.   Developed pedestrian models in CARLA/Python which will refine Autonomous Vehicle decision-making and safety models.Contributed to a research paper on the adverse effects of abnormal pedestrian behavior and how that data can be utilized.Researched new vehicle and pedestrian models and their benefits to the greater autonomous vehicle research community.
