  Answering directly to company's President and CEO, I was responsible for managing all land development projects for Acreage Investments, the land development arm of Future Group. Working closely with Skymark Homes, Contour Atlantic, Greenmark Construction, and any contractors hired to perform work, I worked to ensure that projects were completed in a timely and cost-effective manner, while coordinating with municipal governments and engaging local stakeholders. In addition to project coordination, I was solely responsible for all in-house research related to land acquisition. Researching land ownership, boundaries and neighbouring properties were all responsibilities of the Land Development Co-ordinator. Keeping a finger on the pulse of development around the Avalon Peninsula through media monitoring, online websites, and personal contacts was also a key responsibility in this role. In later parts of my time with Future Group, I worked closely with the Vice President of Operations to review Future Group procedures and aid in the development of multi-year growth strategies for all companies within the organization. I also worked hand-in-hand with the company's CFO to develop multi-year revenue forecasts and cashflow statements to represent progressing projects. Towards the end of my tenure, I took on a larger role in business development and sales, representing Future Group at many business functions and working to generate leads that could be directed to the company's Client Care Co-ordinatior and sales team. After founding Urban East in 2017, I began developing a reputation as a key partner in the development of stronger neighbourhoods. Complete neighbourhoods are a destination of choice, as opposed to a destination of necessity, and subsequently represent opportunity for business to flourish and investment to increase in value.For real estate developers, I can acts as an intermediary between the project and key stakeholders, working to accomplish all project goals. While primarily focused on the management and leasing of Atlantic Place – the largest Class A office space in St. John’s, – the expansion of my role in 2020 lead to a more all-encompassing set of responsibilities. Major projects, such as refreshing Martek’s online presence, have advanced Martek’s continued pursuit of excellence.   As Broker of Record for Avison Young's Newfoundland office, I am responsible for coordinating with Avison Young's team across Canada and ensuring that clients with assets in Newfoundland and Labrador are adequately represented. In addition to overseeing existing mandates, I am directly responsible for growing the Brokerage on the island, seeking to represent landlords and tenants, buyers and vendors. By providing industry insight and market knowledge, I can assist clients with maximizing the value of their real estate.The opening of the Avison Young office in St. John's presents an opportunity to carve out an exciting niche in a market with few commercially-focused real estate professionals.
