      During my last 3 months at LSE and prior to my departure for another role I was interim Head of Collections Services, managing a team of over 30 staff. Collections Services is responsible for acquisition of all print and electronic resources, metadata and descriptive records, and IT infrastructure and support. I manage the E-Services team, which is responsible for providing access to electronic databases, the Data Library and the LSE Research Online service.I lead on research and development work regarding the delivery of electronic content to LSE users and beyond.During the latter period of this role I took on operational responsibility of the Academic Services Group when this post became vacant.

      I managed the Academic Liaison team and Special Collections at the University of Kent, offering a range of services to staff, students and external users of the University and its collections.These services included research support, teaching and learning services, outreach and partnerships initiatives and collection development of the University's collections, including rare and distinctive collections.Whilst at Kent I developed policies and strategies related to Collection Development that enabled significant improvements in the currency, relevancy and quality of the physical and electronic collections managed by Information Services. I also led the development of a Research Data Management Policy, as well as a digital deposit process for research theses. I left this fixed-term role to take up a new position at the Drill Hall Library. Show less

      I lead teams that help staff and students to study, teach, use technology, enjoy library spaces and the explore the amazing collections we hold. I lead the University Library Services, which provide the collections, spaces and skills that our staff and students need to reach their potential. My remit includes academic skills delivery, library collections, university archive. directly responsibility for our Stockwell Street and Avery Hill Libraries, as well as playing a key collaborative partnership role in Medway. I led the Drill Hall Library team as manager of this busy and historic academic library, a shared service for students of the Universities of Greenwich, Kent and Canterbury Christ Church. The library team comprises three groups, providing innovative technical, academic and user services.
