      I managed a fantastic team of people, under the brand name of Active-In, that delivered a large range of activities, events and commissioned projects throughout the Home Counties. My role was to lead on the strategic direction of the team and to successfully secure investment in line with our five strategic areas of work. Our team had grown five-fold and turnover increases by more than 300% in 2.5 years. Our work was recognised as a finalist at both the SME Bucks Awards 2017 and the Bucks Business First Awards 2017, as well as winning various specific project awards for the programmes that we deliver. Some of the projects included the Wycombe District Council Sports Development service, the Active East Herts CSN, Watford Borough Council CSAF project, a Bucks Public Health contract, a commissioned project on behalf of the Leap CSP, one of the largest Sports Education events in the UK, and range of inclusive sports sessions as part of a disability sport hub.
