Izzy Salangsang Sibling Scholarship Durham Down Syndrome Association Jun 2025 The Izzy Salangsang Sibling scholarship is in honour of the young 4 year old Izzy, a DDSA member with Down Syndrome (DS), who suddenly passed away in the fall of 2023. After much careful consultation with the Salangsang family, the DDSA's Board of Directors has come up with this scholarship to financially recognize a sibling of an individual with DS, who is enrolled, or soon to be enrolled, in post-secondary schooling.

Faculty of Engineering Merit Scholarship University of Waterloo Mar 2024 This scholarship is provided in part by the Colonel Hugh J. Heasley endowment fund. The late Colonel Heasley (1882-1973), was a prominent Waterloo citizen who believed in giving back to his community.
