Monforton elementary school
1978 - 19843.5Activities and Societies: Recess, PE, lunch. I was also fortunate enough to have parents who were willing to coach me in baseball, football and basketball. I attended Monforton Elementary School from 2nd through 8th grade. My second grade class consisted of 14 students. After 7 years of attending this school I graduated with 12 of the original students.

1977 - 1978Kindergarten through 1stActivities and Societies: Math, science, story time and snack time. I had a great teacher in 1st grade, my first crush. She provided me a love for story time, math and science. I excelled at snack time and on the playground. My family moved the beginning of my 2nd grade year and I enrolled at Monforton Elementary School.

1988 - 1989Associate of arts - aa 3.2Activities and Societies: Baseball, intramural sports, work study After high school I attended NIC to pursue my love of playing baseball. An injury during Spring ball derailed my efforts. Although it was the end of my baseball career, it was the beginning of my golf career. At NIC I took any job that would help pay my bills. Davidson I completed college in 4 years. I paid all of my expenses by working at Culligan, Cottonwood Hills and Spectators Sports Bar and Grill. I also interned at Rocky Mountain Timberlands (1991) and D.A. Davidson (1992).

Jun 1986 - Oct 1993Assistant golf professionalI started working at Cottonwood Hills during summers in high school. This opportunity is where I acquired my love for golf which has been a lifetime passion. I began working on the grounds crew mowing greens, tee boxes, fairways and picking up range balls. In 2009 I transferred into the proshop and enrolled in the PGA Apprentice Program. I oversaw tee times, rental carts and the driving range. When I wasn't working behind the counter I custom made golf clubs, taught lessons and facilitated clinics through the Bozeman recreation department. Show less

Jan 1988 - Jun 1989Gas station attendantSinclair Service Station was the only gas station in Bozeman that would fill tanks for their customers. Not only did I fill tanks, I washed windows, put air in tires, sold snacks and cleaned the bathrooms. Closing consisted of balancing the days receipts which included recording the amount of gas used versus the amount of sold.
