  This was my first job, and I started as a cashier, working my way up to supervisor. I assisted customer in finding their books, and offered suggestions for other literature. I trained new employees, and scheduled daily tasks, as needed. I was also the Corporate Sales Representative for the store, ordering and processing large corporate sales. I also assisted with laydowns and displays.

  As a teller, customer service and security are paramount. All transactions, regardless of the dollar amount, required verification and accuracy, and all customers need to be treated with respect. I worked with my colleagues, following cash limits, to provide the best experience possible. I offered recommendations for account changes, when applicable. I also audited the ATM weekly.

  Community Manager

  Mixing Office Management and Sales, being a Community Manager was never dull. I was the face of my Regus center, the first person a guest would see as they entered. I made sure the center was clean, and well-stocked, while also ensuring my clients were billed accurately. I also worked to grow our business, helping with monthly marketing blasts, and providing tours to prospective clients.

  Junior Software Developer

  I am currently building cloud-based applications to interface between databases and users. These applications need to handle millions to billions of datapoints in a day, so speed and efficiency is of the essence! My current team is excellent, and the work is very valuable.Technologies used: Java 8, Spring Boot, JDBC, Redis, REST, JMS, EasyMock, Cucumber, JUnit 4/5, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Jenkins.
