  Responsibilities:-• Setting up and maintaining Portfolios in the system and updating all the necessary attributes to ensure the correct risk is captured.• Handling settlements of trades booked at front end for DTC market..Check if any penalties / Buy -in charges, pending instructions exist in the market and to reduce cost per trade for the DTC market.• Handling breaks and reconciliation of trades settled. Ensure all trades match before and settle on contractual settlement date and all KPI's and benchmarks are achieved on weekly and monthly basis• Maintaining Counterparty Setups including Broker desks and Settlement Instructions. Maintaining connectivity with the global trading platforms. Creating SSI’s for delivery types like Fedwire, Euroclear, Cedel etc.• Monitoring issues related trade settlements, cash and positions reconciliation. Mappings for all inbound and outbound SWIFT messages for various portfolios on Aladdin to transmit detailed information about all entries for cash and holdings accounts, that in turn helps reconcile cash flows and balances.• Managing Data questions for external clients. Ensuring the securities have the necessary data like Accrued Interest, Coupons, Factors, redemption, sink schedules etc.• Provide cross training within and outside Blackrock on Aladdin tools (Risk Management tool used by portfolio managers, cash reconciliation tool used by operations professionals) and educating clients.• Technical Support – Using SQL queries and Unix Commands to pull vast data for creating reports from the Database.• Maintaining healthy relationship with the Client and addressing all issues related to various parameters across the lifecycle of a trade, starting from the inception of trade to its settlement and confirmation.Delivery & ImplementationsWas actively involved in implementing two of our major clients so far.
