Show less As a Technical Project Lead, did extensive fit gap analysis, designing and coding. Worked on providing estimations, design, coding and unit and system testing of Enabling Credit Memo ornegative invoicing. Worked on Ariba integrated with SAP. Negative invoice processing over ASN was out of scope and suppliers were asked to submit Credit Memoson paper prior to this project. To support process improvement and Cash Flow initiatives, the RTP organization wished to streamline processing for ASN suppliers so that they could have a single point for transmitting invoices and credits. The desired benefit is two-fold, firstly to reduce the volume of paper credit memos and manual keying and secondly to streamline the process for suppliers thus improving cycle time to feed credit memos into the financial system. Key activities involved -o Enabling Credit Memos - Utilize existing Ariba ASN interface to allow vendors to enter negativeinvoices.o Customizations in Ariba Invoicing - Build validation rules for credit memos and customize Invoicereconciliation engine.o Build Invoice Exceptions for invoices when Invoices do not adhere to validation rules.o Create a Credit Memo dispute role and add it to Approval flow when Negative Invoice hasexceptions.o Also send out notifications to supplier in case of adjusted amounts and negative invoices shouldbe sent to SAP interface.
