  I was in charge of merchandising and marketing the Converse All Star brand. Brands related: Dickies, Samson, Oxygen, Firetrap, Lyle & ScottI was in charge of finding the printing companies and creating a relationship with them in order for me to work with them in creating posters, light boxes and any marketing material related to the brands for their stores. I worked under the management of Richard Dixon who was my MD and mentor, he is responsible for all the work experience I have in the retail business especially the clothing business. I was also in charge of merchandising the company showrooms within our offices, where our sales reps meet with their clients to make business and where we held our seasonal road shows. Show less

  I am in charge of merchandising all 23 branches. as a visual manager I only manage 2 visual merchandisers in the company, I do store visits daily to train sales people and store managers on merchandising. I also assist them with new merchandising their stores when they receive new stock on weekly basis, I keep up with the trends and fashion to make sure the company is always in line with the trends. dressing up of windows and changing the sales floor, I also create catalogues for stores to follow when merchandising their stores. I am also in charge of advertising within the company, starting from creating advertising/ marketing material for promotions/ season to creating catalogues and leaflets to advertise in newspapers. I run all promotions to assist in generating sales and growing the market share. Show less
