      Collaboration - Garment Technologist

The brief for this collaboration was to design and manufacture five garments in a base size (age 4-5) and a large size (age 8-9) for girls. I designed the garments and then started the process by making up patterns and toiles of the garment, which were taken to fit meetings with the client. I had three fit meetings and had to manufacture toiles and finals for these meetings. I had to develope working drawings, technical packs, manual graded nests, grade rules, Gerber graded nests, specification sheets, costings, garment breakdowns, manufacturing process sheets for each of the garments. One of my designs will go into production in the fall, the other 4 garments will be kept on file with the possibility of being used in the future. Show less
