  ❯The Sustainable Fashion Ecosystem is a non-profit organization formed by a group of researchers, entrepreneurs, collectives and brands, whose objective is to collaborate with the production and consumption of sustainable local fashion in Porto Alegre, south of Brazil. The project was activated by the researcher Karine Freire and continued by the scholarship holders of the postgraduate program in Strategic Design at Unisinos.❯As one of the scholarship students, I developed several activities, including:·Creation of the first Ecossistema sewing group;·Paid and free sustainable fashion classes and consultancy for the community;·Active participation in the creation of crowdfunding that raised over 25 thousand reais (about 4800 dollars) for the initiative.
