In Incoming department each and every product was thoroughly checked according to their SOP. Process line quality management included how efficiently the process takes place without any error and with maximum efficiency, which included checking of proper welding of outer shells of water heater, adequate filling of insulation, installation of thermostat etc. Outgoing quality management includes inspecting 3 items out of a lot of 100 items, where the heating time, label printing etc. Show less

  Lead my team in completing the project on Microstructure characterization of hot-rolled advanced high strength steel. This incorporates heating the specimen to a high temperature by using a thermocouple followed by controlled cooling which was done by holding the specimens at a lower temperature for some time followed by annealing of some specimens while others were quenched. Post heat treatment specimens were cut half and etched properly in order to get a clear view of micro-structures under the microscope. Post which detailed study of microstructures were done using Scanning Electron Microscope. The final step was testing hardness using the Vickers hardness test. Show less

  • Worked on a problem statement : Competitor analysis and implementing best practices at retail outlets – in Ghaziabad city. Initially, in the first month. Identified the demographics of Ghaziabad city as - industrial/roadways area, daily commuters, and affluent areas. • To know the consumer behavior towards the Retail outlets I conducted primary market research in the form of a survey form and collected 1000+ organic. Analyzed the data using SPSS and found consumers were more attracted to brand image, quality & quantity, ancillary services, location, and visibility of the retail outlet. • The company was more interested in branding the premium fuel eg. XP 95 petrol & XtraGreen diesel. I took the testimonials of consumers and interviewed them at the RO to understand their perspective towards premium fuels and found that there was less awareness and the CAs had significantly less knowledge about the products. • Increased visibility by outbound branding. This helped in increasing the sales of premium fuel by 20%. After analyzing the RO layouts of HPCL and BPCL I proposed a new RO layout that would help them get 15% more vehicles in the same time frame.• I was felicitated with a Certificate of excellence from the Executive Director & General Manager (Sales) at the head office.
